Community colleges play an important role in society — delivering affordable, accessible quality education that can lead to employable skills or pave the way to transfer to a four-year university program. Moreno Valley College's team of faculty, staff and administrators work together to deliver the courses and support that benefit our students and service for the benefit of Moreno Valley and the Inland Empire.
College President
FeRita Carter, Ph.D., has been selected to serve as Moreno Valley College's Interim President. She has over three decades of experience in higher education. She has served as the vice president of Student Services at Riverside City College since July of 2016, and also as interim president at Riverside City College. Carter is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she majored in industrial and systems engineering. She holds a master of public administration degree from the Montgomery campus of Auburn University in Alabama and a Ph.D. in public policy and administration from Mississippi State University.
Executive Cabinet
The division of Business Services supports the needs of students, faculty and staff while coordinating business and administrative services functions and responsibilities for the College.
Vacant
The division of Planning and Development leads the College's strategic planning efforts and institutional effectiveness and additional responsibility centered around student success and support, workforce development, marketing, grants, and college advancement efforts.
The division of Academic Affairs oversees MVC's six schools, accreditation efforts, curriculum, academic offerings, faculty and provides ongoing support to facilitate the gifted educators and students that make up our College community.
The division of Student Services provides student-centered access to resources and programs that foster career and college readiness; increase outreach, access, success and completion; provide services that see to our student body's physical and mental health; and ensure student academic and overall wellness.
