About
Rosalinda Rivas serves as the Apprenticeship Director in the Career & Technical Education division at Moreno Valley College, where she leads the development and expansion of registered apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs that connect students to high-wage, high-growth career pathways. Her work focuses on building strong education-to-employment pipelines in partnership with employers, faculty, workforce agencies, and community organizations.
With over three decades of experience across K-12, community colleges, and workforce systems, Rosalinda brings deep expertise in workforce strategy, employer engagement, and student-centered program design. She has held leadership roles with the Los Angeles Unified School District, Los Angeles County Office of Education, Chaffey College, and Moreno Valley College, supporting initiatives that advance equity, access, and economic mobility for underserved populations.
At the local, state, and regional levels, Rosalinda serves on the Board of Directors for the City of Perris Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Motlagh Scholarship Foundation Board, and is an active member of the California Department of Industrial Relations – Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) Interagency Advisory Committee on Apprenticeship (IACA), contributing to statewide policy and best practices for apprenticeship expansion.
Rosalinda holds a Master’s degree in Executive Leadership from Azusa Pacific University and is committed to advancing innovative, inclusive workforce pathways that support student success into meaningful, well-paid careers; strengthen institutional educational success; and foster collaborative, engaging partnerships with community and industry employers.
