About
Sandra Martinez is Moreno Valley College's dean of Enrollment Services and Engagement. Martinez has 14 years of increasingly responsible experience in Student Financial Services within Riverside Community College District, including 5 years as the director of Student Financial Services at Moreno Valley College.
As a director, Martinez worked collaboratively as a strategic partner with colleagues across the district to meet the enrollment and retention goals by fostering robust, comprehensive communication strategies to broaden the availability of financial aid resources to students and families; as well as supporting the professional development of classified professionals and faculty across MVC.
The Enrollment Services and Engagement unit comprises Admissions and Records, First-Year Experience Program, Middle College High School, Outreach, Student Financial Services, TRIO Programs (Upward Bound, Upward Bound/Math & Science, Educational Talent Search, ACES), and Veterans Resource Center.
Being the first in her family to attend college, she holds an associate's of arts in marketing from Santa Ana College, a bachelor's of science in business administration/management from the University of Phoenix, and an master's of business administration with an emphasis in organizational leadership from Brandman University, as a first-generation college graduate.
