Equitable and Inclusive Teaching and Learning
The Equitable and Inclusive Teaching and Learning (EITL) Committee is a standing committee of the Academic Senate. EITL informs and makes recommendations to the other standing committees of the Senate on matters of student equity and diversity as they relate to the 10+1 and Student Equity Plan.

Purpose
The Equitable and Inclusive Teaching and Learning Committee facilitates faculty-led efforts in the Student Equity Plan as they relate to standards or policies regarding student preparation and success. This committee participates in the development of processes for institutional planning and the budget development of student equity and achievement funds. The committee also advises the standing committees of the Academic Senate on teaching and student equity research and trends.
Meetings
The EITL Committee follows the most recent Governance Committee Meeting Calendar. Unless otherwise noted, EITL meetings occur on the second Thursday from 12:50 - 1:50 pm during the fall and spring terms.
