MVC is a Hispanic-Serving Institution
Inclusivity Starts Here
The Hispanic/Latinx community is a foundational part of Moreno Valley College. Since opening in 1991 with just 3,490 students, MVC has grown to more than 15,000 annually, with the Hispanic/Latinx community leading and shaping that growth. This relationship continues to define our commitment to equitable opportunity.
A Label with Meaning
Moreno Valley College holds the federal designation of Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI), reflecting the diversity of our students and enabling access to resources that strengthen our ability to serve the Hispanic/Latinx community. We foster an environment where culture is valued, experiences are understood, and every student has the support needed to succeed.
MVC also qualifies as a Minority-Serving Institution (MSI), with approximately 78% of the student body identifying as a minority.
