Moreno Valley College is ranked #145 nationwide in the 2024 Military Times "Best for Vets: Colleges," #4 in California, #2 among community colleges, and #1 in its district, reflecting MVC's strong support for veterans.

MVC students embraced civic engagement for the 2024 election season, leading voter education efforts on local ballot measures like Measure CC by going door-to-door across Moreno Valley and hosting on-campus events to spread the word about voting to peers and community members alike.

Arlene Serrato has been honored as the 2024 MAP Champion of the Year for her work advancing equitable access and career attainment for students at Moreno Valley College.

Lauren (Ally) Johnson, Ph.D., associate professor of art history, has been awarded a spot in the Overseas Faculty Development Seminar with the Council of American Overseas Research Centers, where US community college and minority-serving institution faculty gain international experience.

In honor of Disability Awareness Month, the Accessibility Resource Center hosted a multi-sensory event. Attendees engaged in hands-on activities and conversational learning to deepen their understanding of the challenges and strengths of students who manage disabilities.

On October 19, the 100 Black Men of the Inland Empire hosted their 8th Annual Gala at the Riverside Convention Center. As proud gala sponsors, the Riverside Community College District and its colleges were honored to continue their partnership with 100 BMIE.
