Moreno Valley College had two Applied Digital Media students place in the 2024 American Advertising student competition, which is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition with more than 40,000 entries every year in local ad club competitions.

Terry Janecek, a 27-year employee at Moreno Valley College, has been selected as the College’s Classified Employee of the Year. Janecek has served as an employee at the Riverside Community College District since 1994, with most of his career spent at Moreno Valley.

Moreno Valley College’s Early Childhood Education Center has received national accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The Riverside Community College District Board of Trustees has selected Emily Craig as the District’s 2023 Alumnus of the Year. Craig graduated from the Moreno Valley College paramedic program, Class 12. Since 1959, the Riverside Community College District has selected an alum for the award.

The Riverside Community College District (RCCD) and Moreno Valley College (MVC) were honored to support and sponsor the inaugural State of the Black I.E. Symposium, a significant event dedicated to advancing equity, justice, and empowerment within the Inland Empire's Black community.
