A New Academic Hub for MVC

The new Library Learning Resource Center (LLRC) will create a central academic hub for Moreno Valley College, bringing together library services, collaborative learning spaces, technology-rich study environments, tutoring resources, and other academic support services.

About the Project

Blueprint example of where the LLRC building will stand on the main campus
The LLRC will live next to the existing Welcome Center and bridge multiple campus levels.

The new LLRC will provide students with expanded spaces to study, collaborate, access technology, and connect with academic support resources. The three-story, 31,904-net-assignable-square-foot facility will provide flexible learning environments designed to support the changing needs of MVC students.

Located near the center of campus, the new building will bring together library and learning resource functions with additional spaces for academic support, technology, and student activities. The project will also provide updated infrastructure and technology capabilities while improving accessibility and energy efficiency.

The project is funded through a combination of State Capital Outlay Funding and Measure CC/District matching funds, representing an approximately $80 million investment in the college's academic infrastructure.
