Students planning to pursue these certificates across multiple semesters should start with entrepreneurial essentials, and then move through the more advanced courses and topics covered in entrepreneurial foundations and entrepreneurship and the team.

The Associate of Science Degree in Entrepreneurship prepares students to start and successfully operate their own businesses. The program focuses on the assessment of the market need, and the necessary skills for successful entry, operation and exit. Students will learn how to develop original business and marketing plans, to evaluate their competitiveness in the market, and analyze business ideas to determine feasibility and start-up requirements. Students will be able to perform the duties of planning, overseeing and directing business operations and employees, as well as collect and analyze data to identify potential product or service demand.

If you have an idea, product or service that you want to realize, then being an entrepreneur may be ideal for you. Studying entrepreneurship at MVC teaches you key life and business skills, such as solving real word problems, collaboration, communication and innovation. Plus, entrepreneurship courses are transferable to California State University, San Bernardino, and can lead to a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship.
