March 1, 2024Moreno Valley College’s Office of TRIO Programs, in partnership with campus and community agencies, hosted the You Matter. You’re Valuable. You Count: College, Career, and Community Resource Fair in celebration of National TRIO Day. Over 400 students and community members attended.
McGowan Hired as VP of Academic Affairs
January 15, 2024Joumana McGowan, Ed.D., has been hired as the vice president of Academic Affairs at Moreno Valley College. McGowan comes to Moreno Valley College with over 25 years of experience in higher education, having previously served as an administrator at both Citrus College and Mt. San Antonio College.
Educator to be Honored with College’s Legacy Award at MLK Breakfast
December 18, 2023Kym Taylor, an African American Parent Involvement Specialist for Moreno Valley Unified School District, will be honored with the Moreno Valley College's Legacy Award at the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Breakfast & Scholarship Ceremony.
Emily Craig Selected as Alumnus of the Year
December 11, 2023The Riverside Community College District Board of Trustees has selected Emily Craig as the District’s 2023 Alumnus of the Year. Craig graduated from the Moreno Valley College paramedic program, Class 12. Since 1959, the Riverside Community College District has selected an alum for the award.
MVC Dental Hygiene Program Celebrates 20 Years of Accreditation
October 31, 2023Moreno Valley College’s Dental Hygiene program is celebrating 20 years of accreditation as part of National Dental Hygiene Month which is observed annually in October. The College's Dental Hygiene program is the only community college based dental hygiene program in the Inland Empire.
