Families, mentors, and alumni gathered Saturday, May 17, as Moreno Valley College celebrated 549 TRIO students for their academic achievements. Participants from four federal college access initiatives as well as the TRIO Class of 2025 were honored.

Families, alumni, and prospective students packed Moreno Valley College on May 17 for the college's third annual open house. Visitors met with support programs, faculty, learned about academic programs, explored student services, attended workshops, and discovered community partnerships.

Moreno Valley College (MVC) marked a day of dual celebration on Wednesday, April 30, with the grand reopening of its renovated Student Services Building and the unveiling of its first public sculpture, "You Belong, at MVC."

Moreno Valley College celebrated its seventh annual Día de los Niños y Día de los Libros (Day of the Child/Day of the Book) with a joyful and collaborative service-learning event hosted by the Puente Program and the Early Childhood Education Center.

LaTonya Parker, Ed.D., professor of counseling services at Moreno Valley College, has been elected president of the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges for the 2025–26 academic year. Parker brings nearly 30 years of higher education experience.
