Over the spring semester, the Accreditation Workgroup continued to meet to review the Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (ISER) and reflect on the college's accreditation process. The ISER draft was also shared through Distirct governance bodies.

The focus of the semester was to share MVC’s Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (ISER) and collect feedback to ensure the accreditation report truly reflects the amazing work of the college to support student success and institutional effectiveness.

The California State Fire Marshal and the State Board of Fire Services have reaccredited Moreno Valley College’s Regional Fire Academy for five years, a decision made through State Fire Training under the Office of the State Fire Marshal.

Moreno Valley College has made significant changes in the accreditation process. One is the creation of the Accreditation Workgroup in Spring 2024 and during Summer 2024, over 50 participants attended the accreditation kickoff.
