Moreno Valley College Announces Enhanced MyPortal System for Students
Moreno Valley College (MVC) is excited to announce upcoming enhancements to the Riverside Communtiy College District (RCCD) MyPortal system. Beginning mid-October, MVC students will have access to the new version of MyPortal, which offers improved cybersecurity features, easier navigation, and seamless access to essential services such as Student Profile, Class Schedule, Financial Aid, Registration, and more.
In this process, WebAdvisor will no longer be available to students. All student tasks can be completed in MyPortal.
Key improvements
- Cybersecurity Enhancements: The system now features Single Sign-On for added security, ensuring that your personal information and data are protected.
- Mobile Compatibility: The new MyPortal is optimized for smartphones and tablets, allowing students to access their information from any device.
- Optimized Navigation: A more intuitive design makes it easier for students to find what they need, faster.
- Better Performance: Expect a smoother, more efficient experience with improved processes and overall system performance.
Important Information
- MyPortal supports Chrome, Edge, and Firefox browsers.
- Access MyPortal through the MVC website or directly at portal.rcc.edu. Your login information is the same.
- To help with the transition, tutorial videos explaining the new features and navigation are available.
- A detailed knowledgebase with helpful articles is available.
- WebAdvisor access for students has been phased out. Students may access all services in MyPortal. Employees may continue to use WebAdvisor.
